My Favorite Story...
Back in 2021, I was working with a buyer client of mine to help them find their dream home. It was the peak of the Covid housing hysteria, and we had seen a ton of houses.Â
My buyers were starting to get a bit discouraged, so began the process of working with a local builder so they could guarantee they would get their dream home. They quickly found that it was going to be insanely expensive to build the house they wanted.Â
So… what now? Stop looking? I don’t think so…
Two days before Christmas, the perfect house for them listed. It checked every box. It had the fireplace, two story ceilings in the great room, three car garage, and most importantly… the cubbies in the laundry room for the kids’ stuff. We scheduled a tour for later that day, made our offer, and got the property under contract within 24 hours… before it even showed up on Zillow.Â
